Year 11 and Year 12 students can join free2go by visiting their local RACQ office with proof of age or proof of senior year enrolment.

18 and 19 year olds out of high school can also join by visiting an RACQ branch, however they will be required show proof of age such as a Queensland learners or provisional drivers licence.

To save time, you can print the form attached (in the left hand column) to take with you to the RACQ office.

The free2go team can also conduct visits to Queensland high schools, where students can sign up as well.

School Visits

RACQ is offering to send the free2go team to high schools to give a short 40 minute presentation to Year 11 and Year 12 students to explain more about the free2go program.

The presentations include a short video with some useful tips on getting your licence, buying and maintaining a car and information about the offer of free RACQ membership.

The free2go team currently visit approximately 80% of all Queensland high schools and feedback received from staff and students is always extremely positive.

Year 11 and Year 12 students can join the free2go program at these presentations. The personal staff visits are available on request to high schools around Queensland.

To request a visit, call the RACQ free2go Coordinator direct on 1800 150 519.
