Getting Your Licence

Steps for Getting Your Open Licence

To apply for your Class C open licence in Queensland, you must have held your P2 licence for two years (if you were under 25 when issued your P2 licence).

You will automatically go on to your open licence, if you have paid a licence fee of three or more years when you are on the P2 licence.

Otherwise you will be required to visit a Department of Transport and Main Roads customer service centre, complete the Driver Licence Application form (F3000) and pay the fee once your P2 licence expires.
